Philosophy of Care

I treat adults with a wide range of mental health disorders & provide gender informed care in a neutral, safe place for my patients. My treatment approach incorporates a number of elements including psychodynamic psychotherapy, interpersonal therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. I also emphasize developing a treatment plan that fits your individualized needs and promote opportunities for personal growth. This includes patient education and referrals to other community providers & resources as appropriate.

When I meet with a new patient, I always emphasize my belief that treatment is a collaborative process.

I am always approachable and sensitive to your concerns.

Experience

My practice includes working with patients experiencing a wide variety of mental health issues. I provide medication management and psychotherapy or medication management if a patient has a therapist. I also have extensive experience working with patients who have medical and psychiatric problems. My recent experience includes:
